The short version
Creating Space is an iPhone app that helps people step away from distracting apps. You choose what to put out of reach and for how long, and every day you follow through, a star appears in a procedurally generated night sky that grows into real constellations over time. It is free to download and runs on a subscription, with a 7 day free trial and monthly, annual and lifetime options sold through Apple. It has no accounts and shows no advertisements, and it cannot see which apps you selected. It measures an anonymous record of how far people get through setup, and, only if you allow Apple's tracking prompt, whether the advertisements it buys elsewhere led to a subscription. It is made by Lightbulb Moment Labs, Inc. in Whitefish, Montana.

What we would rather you did not write
Creating Space is a tool for managing your own phone. It is not a parental control product and it is not for monitoring anyone else's device. Coverage that frames it that way describes a different app.
